Radio KRPI is located in Ferndale, Washington and is LIVE on the Internet. We broadcast at 50,000 watts during the day and 10,000 watts at night. Our listening area stretches from Bellingham on the south and Blaine to the north. As a community station, KRPI 1550 AM strives to provide diversity by allow those in the minority to have a voice. You will hear points of view that are rarely expressed in mainstream media. We take pride in being an alternative to mainstream media and offering the public a forum for expressing points of view that otherwise may not be heard. We welcome your comments! KRPI 1550 AM has a variety of programs supporting the involvement of students and members of the community. The station accepts press releases, public service announcements, event announcements and news stories for on-air broadcasting. To further this goal, we are making available air-time on Sunday mornings to anyone who is interested in hosting a community program.
